Struggling fruit manager, Juliette Cavaillier, has admitted her best efforts to motivate her department of apples have come up short, and has labelled the fruit 'completely unresponsive'.
Cavaillier, who initially welcomed the challenge when she found herself in charge of the diverse group of 23 Gala, Golden Delicious and Bramley apples in a company shake-up in August, has reportedly tried a number of different approaches, but her team were 'unmoved', and continued to miss targets.
A close colleague of Ms Cavaillier has said that she is considering quitting her post as apple boss and becoming a violin teacher instead, but has warned her that teaching a class full of violins might not be any easier.
