Apple boss forgets phone at phone launch

This could work!
"New apple boss Tim Cook forgot to bring the new iPhone 5 demonstrator to the product launch at Cupertino yesterday and had to wing it by waving his old iPhone 4 and muttering some bullshit about a better camera. "
Good start bonjo, keep going. I would offer to help, but I'm not going to. And as a WOM you should be able to manage on your own.
Apple executives worked late into the night to reverse shipments of the new iPhone 5 (with a newly designed slimmer case, larger 3d-capable screen, 4G ultra-fast internet and tri-mode visual/infra-red/x-ray cameras) and instead try to shoehorn a slighly better camera into the old iPhone 4.
One apple insider said "We feel a bit disappointed after working all year on such a fantastic new phone to have our new boss screw the whole thing up. Steve would never have done this, Steve's a professional - and he's furious with Tim! He was all for walking on at the end of the launch saying "one more thing... Tim, you're fired!", but we knew that would end badly so we sat him down with Angry Birds and he took out his frustrations on some pixellated pigs for a while instead."

There's no such thing as a free launch.
