After decades of terrifying lone women, during which he broke into their homes and left chilling calling cards comprising of cheap chocolate boxes, the Milk Tray Man has finally been apprehended.
The Milk Tray man has been one of the most elusive perverts in the history of sex pests. Despite the best efforts of police and MI5, he avoided capture for years. He managed to enter the most impenetrable high security homes, leaving the residents terrified. Even modern day forensic evidence techniques, such as DNA matching, yielded no clues as to his identity.
Until he made one elementary mistake.
After leaving teeth marks on a Hazlenut Cluster, detectives were able to match the impression with dental records. That was when IT salesman Howard Winnard became the primary suspect. A search of Winnard's Cambridge home unveiled a vast stock of cheap chocolate boxes - as well as a hoard of dresses that he'd made from the dead skins of old guard dogs.
"That last line was a bit disturbing," said a police spokesman. "But then again, we ARE talking about an IT salesman."
