Chancellor George Osborne today announced plans to regulate the Big Issue price fixing policy which currently exploits thousands of vulnerable homeowners throughout the country. "House prices have been in decline over the past twelve months with homes in some areas seeing a drop of up to 7%" he stated, "Over the same period the cost of a Big Issue magazine has risen by over 33% to £2" he added. "If the current trend continues then by 2050 a 3 bedroom semi in Wakefield, valued at £120,000, would drop below the inflated cost of the magazine" he concluded.
