In a series of product announcements, Amazon have introduced a new range of Kindle devices including what may be the most revolutionary Zero Power Kindle.
"This is a game changer.", claimed Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon. "Instead of power hungry displays and processors, this uses entirely natural wood products, pressed into flat sheets and glued between slightly stiffer sheets. An ink system is used to show the words."
The result is portable and low cost. The only problem is that only one book can be stored per device, but it's so cheap that people are expected to simply buy an additional device for each new book they want to own.
