Bosses of ITVs XFactor have once again had to justify their use of Louis Walsh as a judge in XFactor. Human rights activists have accused the show of exploiting the old and vunerable by wheeling out Louis every Saturday for the nation to stare and laugh at.
The mental health of Mr Walsh, 107, has been under serious review following his continual insistance that Jedward have talent. A Help The Aged spokesman told us that "dementia will affect 1 in 4 of us, publicly humiliating a fragile man with serious problems and who is also clearly delutional is not the action of a civilised society"
However, Simon Cowell, whose production company is behind the show, released a statment stating that after "much medical testing and advise" louis walsh have been passed mentally fit and put his sometimes bizare behaviour and views down to him being a "bit of an idiot"
We tried to contact Mr Walsh for comment on the ongoing situation however he told us he was unable to comment as he is a pink helicopter and pink helicopters can't do talking
