After two of the recent elections were decided by courts, the Federal Election Commission have now decided that the fairest method and potentially the least controversial will be a true One Man One Vote method. To facilitate this the Duckworth-Lewis method will determine exactly the number of votes cast for each candidate
There are some drawbacks. One set of party voters have to cast their votes before the other. Tea must be taken between each set of votes and each potential President must realise that the PAR score is not the winning score (comment copyright Mark Boucher). Party Members dont have to turn up even though a vote has been saved for them and a running commentary has to involve cakes
Apart from this, the Federal Commission sees this as a seed change in American politics
