“Cuts will help recovery” was the mantra from George (Gideon) Osborne as he delivered a keynote speech today. The chancellor believes that the economy will thrive simply by removing all support services from the increasing number of self-harmers in the UK.
“Attention seekers are the new asylum seekers. By destroying any hope they have, a greater number of suicides will surely ensue, leaving the rest of us far better off…they’ve been bleeding us ( as well as themselves) dry for too long” quipped the coiffured multi-millionaire as he entertained a group of like-minded friends at the annual Bullingdon Club reunion dinner.

I think he could (and indeed may wel)apply the same argument to the winter fuel payment. Or Old Age Pensions. Or the Health Service.
