Each week desperate celebs will be involved in automotive altercations in a bid to gain publicity and sympathy. As the series goes on the shunts will get more complicated with technical help provided by Richard Hammond and Lewis Hamilton. The trailer for the series shows Amanda Holden crashing a car and Reese Witherspoon being run over, both are proving very popular. A panel of judges will decide on the best crash with extra points on offer for gaining the most publicity for the accident.
Cowell has signed up the Stig and East 17s Brian Harvey for the panel. A spokesman for Syco productions said 'Harvey was a no brainer... no really he's a no brainer. Anyone who can run themself over with a car they are driving at the time has to be a must for a show like this'.
