Wouldn't you turd burglars call it 11.9 anyway?

hi rikkor,
i) new concept to me -'turd burglars'. Is it the turd that's doing the burgling or the turd that's being burgled?
ii)I think that it's 'the brand name' that's important in the commercial world. With 7.7. we never had the same transatlantic problemPosted 1 year ago # -
I discovered, recently, that you can buy Happy Ramadan cards. I can understand the need for Ramadan: Islamic bonding and setting themselves apart from the rest etc but I'd never imagined it as a particularly happy time. Perhaps I should sign up and find out for myself. Then again...

Greg - unfortunately for you, just for including the words 'Ramadam', 'Islamic' and 'sign up' in your posting you'll shortly be receiving a visit by a couple of gents wearing dark suits and sunglasses.

Doh. So will I.

Along these lines I heard someone say "happy Remembrance Day" once before catching themselves.

One that gets right up my hooter is the modern trend to say "happy Easter" When did that start and I've now heard "happy boxing day" too. Bloody card manufacturers would have a card or cards for made up 'occasions' 365 days a year if they could find those gullible enough to buy them.
BTW "Happy 18.06 on Sept 9th Moment" I'd have sent a card but nobody makes them...
