David Walliams who washed ashore off the Isle of Dogs last Summer has been released back in to River Thames. Walliams arrival stunned naturalists who beleive his navigation was affected by the El Nino cycle in the Southern Pacific. He was released at the river's source near Lechlade, and barring shopping trollies and Weil's disease, he should enter the open sea near Harwich in about ten days.
Fans are expected along the river to waved goodbye to the popular comedian.
Veterinarian staff at the release said Walliams needed some "gentle encouragement" to leave the Green Room he had been kept in for six days while the release was publicised.
Should he attempt to leave the river during the journey, vets are on hand to euthanase, for his own good.
