Yep. Of course there's a mandatory 'ccoling off period' after a performer's last know laugh producing performance. After that he/she qualifies for a try out on the coveted Radio 4 6.30pm 'comedy' slot. Subject to a satisfactory run out in that most testing of arenas - not even one laugh produced within a statistically significant audience sample - there is every possibility of a contract for a 6 part series.
