I've said this so many times, and yet I'm saying it again.
If his appeal had been allowed to go ahead, there would have been evidence submitted which would have led to his acquittal. By releasing him on compassionate grounds, the Scottish Government spared the blushes of the UK and American Governments who insisted that he was responsible.
He was a patsy, simple as that.

A slim volume published by Verso 2010 and worth reading. Distinctly aroma of that well known fragrance 'Coverup'. My copy was part of my 'retirement gift literature' - just in case I ran out of things to rant about in my declining years.
