Interviewed after Thusday night's Europa League tie with Hearts Harry is quotes as saying" yeah, we thought it would be a bit of fun, some fans got a chance to prove themselves, and the mascots had to come off at half time as it was past their bed time. Hearts we soo shit they still couldn't beat them" he added, " No easy games in Europe?, Bollocks, any match against the Jocks is a piece of piss"

I like this idea a lot, think it needs some work though. I reckon you could flesh this out a bit and get a NiB out of it.
Raffle for season ticket holders to see who gets to play along with the mascots, and a mate of Gareth Bale.
Maybe a quote from Hearts manager, saying "Yeah we knew what was going on, they think they're so funny. But the joke's on them, they haven't realised yet that we sent a team made up of our players' grandparents - our centre forward was a 93 year old woman. Plus we had a scarecrow in goal. And we still got a draw."

Thanks for the thumbs up. I'll give it another go later, I like the idea of one player getting a game because he bought the "lucky pie"

I like the "lucky pie" idea too. That could be how they determined who was going to come on for the second half after the mascot had to be subbed off for bed time.
"I went to get a balti pie at half time, and when I ordered it a little piece of music played, then Harry turned up and told me to get my boots on because I was coming on at left back."

As a spurs fan ouch, obviously
Like the idea and VCG 'balti pie' line excellent. Can't recall seeing many balti pies at WHL over past seasons though. Maybe Ive been in the wrong part of the ground.
Just a possible quote from Harry
'Overall, this was a fine win for the lads, whoever they was. Well, not an actual win as such, but compared to our 'league' position....you know. The three girls played well an' all, 'specially once they'd worked out it weren't netball.
