You know, when I was younger, I believed in capital punishment. When I got a little older, I realized how many people get railroaded for things they probably didn't do in this country. So, rotting in prison forever is now just fine with me as a punishment.

The most recent example in the US is the Casey Anthony trial. Everyone except the jury believed that she was absolutely guilty. She undoubtedly knows or did something, but unfortunately, it's never been proven to a jury.

@ Rik. Current banner ad says I can get up to £7000 for "social trading" I think thats the amount us Brits charge you Yanks for supplying the drugs you can't get for lethal injections.

I'm sure drive-by's would be cheaper, if a little messier, so employ a few more municipal workers for the wet job at union rates. Simples!

Yeah I get the wrongful conviction thing in relation to the long drop; but you can't argue with the impressively low recidivism rates

Totally agree Rikkor - I mean why don't Amnesty ever celebrate when someone is rightfully imprisioned or tortured...
