"it was terrible" he said, "at one point there were almost two people talking loudly in ventnor library, and one of them, mrs elsie frogthrobbe (78), was wearing a rain hood, INDOORS!"
he went on, "i surrounded the library and sent in a post-it note telling them to come out with their hands up, but they must have slipped out the back door, but we know where they live, and its just as matter of time till we get these evil perpertrators!"
"mind you," he concluded, "i'm off work for three weeks now, with post traumatic stress disorder, so the gods only know when i can get round to catching them!"
