On Newsnight, some spotty 12 year old from PWC says that western ecconomies need to spend less than they earn. Really? No Shit Sherlock! I'm old enough to have a cheque book and I figured that one out myself.
Meanwhile the older talking heads say that "We need to make some stuff". I've heard that from any number of Farmers and manual workers down the local over the last ten years, when the talking heads were still telling us that financial services were the way ahead.
If it wasn't for the impending ecconomic meltdown, there would be a great joke in this.
