Cameron Attacks Multiculturalism: Wight is not an Island
In a stunning u-turn on previous policies, David Cameron stood up to say that Britain was a single nation, with no room for ghettoes, and that the Isle of Wight experiment was over. "We left them to themselves, and they have moved apart. They have their own words 'sister-wife' and 'son-brother'; they have their own foods -lettuce. We have to recognise that this doesn't work. The Isle of Wight population needs to visit the mainland and join mainstream culture.
