A well known UK pop star is said to be 'completely devastated' after the British press agreed to honour their manager's plea for privacy during a difficult phase they're going through.
The manager's heart-felt letter, which was sent to every news agency in the UK and listed the exact locations and times of the star's movements, asked if the press could refrain from intruding on and adding to their clients current problems.
The letter outlined in minute detail the singer's current condition, complete with exclusive quotes from the starlet, and listed times and places where the lead vocalist would not be available for interview should the press chose to intrude into this black time for this plucky young Brit.
The manager, who won't be named said "My client is feeling terribly dejected at this point blank acceptance of our request for privacy. We have spent many weeks organising rehab visits, lonely walks down beaches and clandestine meetings with old flames and feel that all this effort has gone to waste now that the local press has agreed to our requests for absolutely no intrusion".
The un-named star was available for comment.
