Amy Winehouse certainly was talented but who is this Amy Whitehouse? Has she been in the news for any reason?
Mary Whitehouse died years ago. Too much crack.
Regardless of the spolling mistooks, are you suggesting that the loss of a 'genius' is worse than the loss of an innocent child??!!
If so, you are beyond sick.
Yes, whenever someone dies, it's sad whether it be for family and friends or for their fans, but this is not a tragedy.
A tragedy, is when 80+ innocent children are slain in the name of religion by a lunatic with a gun.
I've said before, I don't find the Amy Winehouse jokes particularly funny, but her death is at best a waste, but not in any way worse than the shocking slaughter of children.
Personally I always thought Amy Winehouse's music was a load of old pony. Never liked it. Huge fan of Amy Whitehouse though.
I think that Amy Winehouse is getting as much respect on this site as she showed to herself and her fans, as in nowt.
It seems crazy to me that she gets equal front page billing with a national tragedy in Norway, but then that seems to be how important Z list celebs have become. Bonkers.
I was extremely pissed when I wrote this and was not even aware that I had until I logged on many hours later.I was not referring to the Norwegian kids.
It would have been nice if it was that baby shambles pillock had died instead.
I think we'd all worked out that you've got a drink problem.
Looks like I've got a drinking problem cos the wife won't give me any cash.
'the' wife? I'm pretty sure there's more than one.
Guff
And there was me thinking your original was a superbly ironical post-modern satire on the typical sort of garbled, semi-literate twitter quotes that get passed off as journalism these days....
We are the world.
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let's start giving
Keep em guessing.
Can't remember which rag it was but "£5 Tesco voucher inside" got bigger billing than both stories.
Was there a line for the voucher?
Was it for die-t coke?
