A smirking Karl Marx last night broke decades of silence and spoke from beyond the grave to jeer: “Who’s the big twat now, eh?”
As countries all over Europe opened tetchy letters from their banks while America struggled to find a way of coping with a $14trillion debt in a country where most voters can’t count to ten, Marx taunted: “Perhaps Mr Weirdy Beardy Lefty had a point after all, eh?
“When I said the defining features of capitalism include alienation, exploitation and reoccurring, cyclical depressions leading to mass unemployment, you all just laughed. Not laughing now, are you? Eh?
“Me and Engels and John Maynard Keynes and all the others are pissing ourselves up here.
"George Osborne! For fuck’s sake! The only man in history to make George W Bush look like a towering intellect, and you hand him the keys to the money box!”
Marx said the capitalist world’s plight “made all those miserable years in a London hovel almost worth it.”
However, questioned about his view that capitalism was also responsible for “revolutionizing, industrializing and universalizing qualities of development, growth and progressivity” and was a great improvement on previous economic systems, Marx shrugged in a shifty manner and muttered “Don’t start all that again, for God’s sake. Look, could you lend me a tenner? Just til the royalties come in?”

Although just a small part of the whole I should say that I enjoyed the brief reference to George Osborne. Any paragraph including a reference to the smug one should ideally include at leat one 'fuck' and I was pleased to see that you went with that convention here.
As a newcomer I have yet to work out whether the 'chump word' is acceptable here but in the privacy of my car that is also an epithet which springs to mind when he is speaking on the Radio. As in "Michael Gove? What a chump."

Two weeks later.... sorry and all that, but must be worth another go in present circumstances.
