   Just had confirmation that my dog successfully covered his bitch.

   Pups due on or around the 12th August, aptly as it's the start of the grouse season.

   Considering giving the pups bird related names, given that their parents' are gun-dogs.

   Anyway, very excited at the thought of welcoming our home-grown pup.

   Thanks chaps.

   He's walking around with a distinct swagger in his step, and I'm fairly sure I heard him on the phone earlier arranging a piss-up with his mates down the pub.

    Best of luck. L.V. Rikkor has no off switch when he decides to teach another dog a lesson, so I can't imagine how bad he would be without being fixed. Having an unfixed dog must be a lttle bit of a challenge.

    It's not too bad, he's pretty obedient and responds immediately when I use a particular tone of voice.

    It was our old boy who was the tough guy, although he only ever had to finish the fights that the younger dog had started.
