Rebekah Brooks and the Duchess of York are set to exploit the similarities in their appearances and controversial public lives by joining forces to create a new line of beauty products. These will be aimed at middle aged women juggling career disasters and issues of low personal self-esteem.
“It’s not just celebrities who are prone to self-loathing because of bad decisions and problem hair. It’s a problem all ordinary women will recognize. There’s a kind of tragic glamour about being in the limelight because of public failure," says Suzie Meredith, brand guru. “That kind of glamour has never been associated with a beauty product.” The slogan for the as yet un-named brand is thought to be: "Because you're not worth it."
