Sources within the Murdoch Empire have explained how Rupert Murdoch flew into a rage yesterday when one of his advisors explained the meaning of the word “Sorry”. James Murdoch explained “It is one of those tricky words, more than one syllable and difficult to spell let alone pronounce properly. People should appreciate that it’s meaning varies according to when, where and who is using it. So whilst when a member of the public runs you over with their car and they say sorry the word means one thing, when used by my father, the word means something completely different …”.
It seems that on discovering his “misuse” of the word, Rupert Murdoch “retired” two leading members of his management; “they should have told me what I was being told to say … and just because I don’t have a dictionary they took advantage … and if anybody thinks …”
