A well-known paragon of virtue, Mr. Pot, yesterday called a seller of seedy popular fiction, Mr. Kettle, some very rude names in the House of Commons. So everything’s alright now, the fourth estate has been thoroughly chastened and we can look forward to a future where all our politicians are chivalrous and honest, and our journalists are diligent and sincere, and all’s for the best in the best of all possible worlds.
