offlineMemberso sorry Jeni, for deleting my tedious post about researching and the nice people at DC Thomson who publish the Peoples Friend. Now it looks like you are barking mad when, all along, you were only being nice to me. My gran would have had a copy too. Shame we sold her house before she died, and sent all the stuff in it to a sale.

offlineMemberMy Gran's still very much on the go. She's promised to have a tidy out of the 'big press' before her 95th this year.
I hope she does, there are things which belonged to her mother, and wedding presents from when she and Granda married in 1939 still in the original gift wrap.Posted 1 year ago #
