West Midlands Police has reported several sightings of little white men during night time helicopter patrols across the region. The figures have been seen jumping over back garden fences or hiding in wheelie bins. Some have even been seen jumping out of fast moving cars and scattering in all directions.
The strange phenomena has caused concern in the West Midlands with many of the sightings focused on places like the Wren’s Nest Estate in Dudley and Heath Town in Wolverhampton.
A police spokesman said, “We are at a loss to explain where these ‘creatures’ are eminating from. They seem to appear in a flash then disappear at random. The boys are calling them UFO's - Unidentified Fleeing Objects“
Leading paranormal researcher Doug Millichamp said, “Whoever or whatever these little white beings are it seems that they are drawn to local trouble spots. Maybe they are trying to find out why humans are prone to criminal activity, especially if they are peaceful beings themselves.”
One resident in Wolverhampton said, “I aye been that close up like, but my rotty bit the arse out of one the other night. I bagged the evidence up in a Pound Shop bag and sent it to the local nick.”
"We've had incidents where the creatures have been spotted driving the wrong way up one way streets and going through red lights at eighty miles an hour, but then if they've never seen the Highway Code then it's not their fault I suppose." said the police spokesman.
The Mayor of Wolverhampton has assured residents that there is no threat of invasion but to lock all doors and windows at night.
