Days after Glastonbury, non-attendees still plagued by dull festival anecdotes.

I spoke to somebody who went to Glastonbury a couple of years ago and hadn't seen a single band. They spent a lot of time walking and taking mushrooms. Seemed to me that if he just wanted to take drugs in a field he could have saved himself quite a lot of money and travelling time.
Add to that the cost of tickets that you also have to provide passport ID and a deposit to buy the things, like you are opening a bank account or getting a loan out, and the whole process becomes even less appealing.
