"A member of the rebels' National Transitional Council (NTC) in Benghazi revealed they were holding secret talks to prepare for the regime's fall."
Can anyone spot the fundamental flaw in the following from the BBC News website?

That's a prime example of irresponsible journalism, the rebels have clearly told the journalist that these talks are secret, yet they've gone and announced them in a news story.
Bet the rebels wish they'd made the journalist pinky-promise not to tell.
What's secret about it? Everybody knows what they're trying to do and if for any reason you want to keep a secret it's best not to tell a journalist.
What I want to know is are these people going to pay us back for all those expensive bombs we've dropped if they ever do take control?
Yeah, especially those selfish bastards who willingly stole the kinetic energy and shrapnel from the bomb that fell on the wrong building. I hope they're grateful.
