The coalition today announced a policy to stop the sales of inappropriate clothing to more mature ladies. A spokesman said the Home Office will lay a new "Mutton Dressed as Lamb" bill before parliament. This bill will seek to squash the current drift towards Kronenberg ladies - 16 from the back and 64 from the front. Clothing will be marked as age appropriate - for example a lurid pink t-shirt with Porn Star written in glitter can only be sold to women aged 20 - 30. Playboy merchandise will be for under 25s only and women over the age of 45 will be randomly checked by make-up inspectors. Anyone with a complexion above 20 parts per 100 in the orange scale will receive a good talking to. The initial pilot is to be in Braintree and if successful rolled out to the rest of the country. Sheffield & Newcastle will be excluded from the scheme as in these areas such dress is seen a "Traditional Folk Wear"

Can they also bring in legislation to stop anyone, of any age, over a certain size from wearing leggings in public?
If there's one thing guaranteed to put me off my deep-fried pizza and diet coke it's the sight of some fat bird testing the elasticity of her leggings to the limit.

So is the idea that all middle-aged women should look like Margaret Thatcher? That will please Ed Miliband!
