Idea - if anybody makes changes to the web site system

A nice feature to add to the system would be to display the number of votes in the star ratings. Not necessarily each vote but just the summary rating (as shown at the moment) and the number of votes cast. Reason for suggestion is that 5 stars with 100 votes is far more significant than 5 stars with 1 vote (who might be the author !!).

And I will be well embarrassed when somebody replies that I should just look above/below/left/right and it is already there - but I've not noticed it so am suggesting it.

Better still would be to not show any stars until a minimum number of votes (5?) had been cast.

Or... can't give stars without a comment. That solves all the issues doesn't it? Prevents self abuse and counts contributions
I have noticed that if you comment and then click on stars the stars go on but the comment dissapears. Fix that glitch and its sorted.
Sometimes I surprise myself.

I think it's fine as it is. Not showing any stars until there have been 5 votes would mean pretty much everything on the subs board would have no stars. As far as I can tell you need a minimum number of votes to get into the top 10. 4 I think.
