Today the UK Meteorological Office has warned UK and EU leaders about potential social unrest and rioting across much of Europe. Following the Arab Spring, the impacts of which are still resonating across the world, the Met Office long term forecast has predicted that much of the UK and Europe are likely to be affected by their own Spring. Current predictions are that the peak of the difficulties are expected from March 2012 and may last as long as 3 months.
Politicians and ministers were quick to point out that their program supporting the energy companies and increasing greenhouse gas emissions is well advanced and is expected to avoid any risks of Springs or Summers for many years to come.
