The government is thought to be reconsidering its controversial plans to see through one of its policies.
“We’ve had many years in opposition to refine and hone our policies that one of them must make some sense” said Charity Ungewiss, Spokeswoman for Conservative central command.
“There are several large pieces of legislation that we want to see through in this parliament and the thought is that if we try the really challenging ones
first then the ones that are left, may not seem so insane. I think our tax on the meek might prove popular, think of it as a pre-emptive inheritance tax. Another favourite of mine is the tax on walking, similar to the much loved congestion charge, however this time we will seek to fit everyone with a pedometer and charge for access to pavements and other public places where people walk, I cannot see any flaw in this and think it will be universally popular. Many people try to get around the congestion charge by not using their cars and walking, this is simply tax evasion.”
