Following the success of “Pimp My Park ‘n’ Ride”, RDF Media has signed up eight politicians for a one-off special edition of “Scrapheap Challenge”.
Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling will head a team which attempts to build a working economy from any broken promises they can salvage from the scrapyard of their hopes for a better Britain. They will be aided and abetted by John Prescott and David Blunkett. Brown, commenting on the inclusion of Blunkett in the team, was heard to mutter “In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.”
The opposition will be provided by a team led by a former Etonian and three of his mates. Dave Cameron has picked George Osborne to help with the numbers, Kenneth Clark, who will keep the team supplied with essential supplies such as wine, cigars and a constant stream of uplifting traditional jazz – and Anne Widdecombe, who is expected to do most of the heavy lifting.
The competition will be staged at various locations across the UK on 6th May this year.
