The popular Top Gear team are on standby in London to take advantage of the airport closures. They have contingency plans in place for just such an occasion and are ready to take full advantage.
Jeremy Clarkson will be driving a new Ferrari 599 GTO at over 200mph on the runway at Heathrow. Richard 'Hamster' Hammond is to attempt a jump through 20 old caravans on the tarmac at Gatwick. Meanwhile at Stansted airport James May and his mate Oz Clarke will attempt to set a new drunken driving land speed record in a Bentley after a long lunch.
