I like it, but round here it's not exclusivley Beemers that use the bays: it's mainly badly parked members of the Cheshire Panzer Division.
These 20"-wheeled monsters, normally Audi Q7s, BMW X5s and Mercedes M-WAGens, are normally parked at jaunty angles, often in bays that were previously occupied. I can only assume that power-assisted steering is an expensive option on these behemoths.
They seem to be exclusively owned by small orange women, with blonde hair.

You can pretty much guarantee that if you see a BMW, Merc or Audi parked in a disabled space it won't have a blue badge.
Or any variety of car with tinted windows, lowered suspension or an exhaust that looks like it was a bucket in a previous life.
I think I might have buggered this up by posting the expanded version as a separate post, now this comment has bumped the original one-liner up and the one I actually put some effort into writing is sinking without a trace.
