Energy Secretary Chris Huhne has been asked to host a new series of the classic TV quiz show, 'Play Your Cards Right', formally hosted by Victorian favourite, Bruce Forsyth.
Following allegations that he asked his wife to take on his speeding penalty points in return for a quick fumble on the back seat, Huhne was approached by ITV to resurrect Brucie's catchphrase, 'What do points make? Prizes!'
While Mr Huhne has not yet decided whether or not to take up the offer, it is rumoured that the PM has told him to go for it before 'the shit really hits the fan.'
As for the allegations, the Energy Secretary is adamant that he almost definitely probably wasn't driving the car the day it was clocked speeding.
A member of Mr Huhne's staff, who wishes to remain anonymous because he/she is a member of Mr Huhne's staff, said that the minister 'doesn't remember what he did that day, because he was pissed out of his skull.'
Meanwhile, the BBC's Top Gear has asked Mr Huhne if he would like to appear on the show after presenter Jeremy Clarkson said he admired the minister for trying to offload his points onto 'the little woman'.
