Excellent! Personally, I think we should shovel athletes full of drugs. The pharmaceutical companies would get some great advertising.

I'm no fan of performance-enhancing drugs, but it seems to be basically impossible to complete Le Tour without them, if the many and various allegations are to be believed. When you look at the mileage and altitudes they cover, it is hardly surprising.
