Not to take it too seriously, but petitioning your local MP with a protest seems a basic starting point.

Currently I'm on a high-carb loading diet, preparing for the Hunger Strike if the national strike doesn't work.

You must have a deluxe edition I've only got a Philips' World Atlas. To be fair, they do have a couple of square miles north of the Caucasus.
It's particularly heart warming to know that the BBC didn't waste 300 grand of licence payers money in getting the U.K. entry straight into the finals so they could come a creditable whatever they came.
