Story in Dutch http://www.zita.be/nieuws/wetenschap/1323218_werken-maakt-je-slimmer.html - basically outlines a study by a Dutch university that says people that work tend to be smarter than those that sit on the couch watching TV all day. I particularly like the fact that they equate their findings to the Auschwitz gate 'Working sets you free'

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The Dutch are sick fucks.

I guess "slimmer" must mean "smarter" (as in "cleverer")...which is kind of weird because in Japanese they've borrowed the English word "smart" to mean "slim"...

...you do the maths!
