A Whitehouse spokesman today denied claims that the mission to kill Osama Bin Laden was planned and executed based on a leaked copy of Steven Seagal's latest action film, 'Under Seige 3'.
"We deny any link between the real life events of the last few days and the entirely fictional plot of 'Under Seige 3', said the spokesman, having made a statement explaining how the President personally gave the command to Navy SEALS to shoot the world's most wanted man from the Whitehouse situation room as he watched the daring operation via a helmet-mounted camera worn by one of the elite fighting force.
"I can neither confirm nor deny that the final sequence of 'Under Seige 3' contains the same sequence of events, in the same country, and with broadly similar accompanying dialogue" he said.
Steven Seagal issued an angry statement in response to the Whitehouse denial. "You couldn't make this shit up. It's the exact same plot - except we took out the helmet mounted camera because it seemed a bit far fetched. The US Government has stolen my film and turned it into real life".
The Whitehouse spokesman refused to be drawn on media claims that the SEAL who killed Bin Laden was in fact the team's chef, or that he fired the fatal shots only after making a series of witty asides to an ample busomed female dancer.
