You are more at risk of heart diseases, dementia or other really nasty stuff, particularly if you are currently alive, research carried out by the Isle of Wight University has revealed. In the biggest survey of its kind, the boffins have checked over 150,000 living people and the same amount that weren't living, revealing that those not living were considerably less susceptible to Britain's biggest killers.
"It's amazing how much impact living has on your likelihood of heart disease," revealed the head researcher, "We found nearly no incidents of heart disease in the unliving which suggests that it is the future of human fitness."
The research also revealed that dementia seems to be avoided by not living. Researchers summised that this is down to the fact that caffeine, nicotine and ovaltine consumption among the living was thought to be higher on average.
