UK retail sales rebound 0.2%, statistical margin of error 0.2%

ONS should really get out more. They reported big year-on-year retail sales increases in January forgetting that last year we were under two feet of snow.
I did like to use "rebound" with such an insignificant figure, as are all media outlets.
Love it! This headline is painfully accurate, and the media always forget to explain statistical margins/errors. And "rebound" with 0.2% growth is a very sensational way to describe 0.2%.
Apparently 3.5 out of 7 people make things more complicated than they have to be.
