I hate I-anything. Any technology that causes users to be smug. Because they are so much more creative than you are, don't you understand?
There must be lots of Agatha Christie-esque mysteries now where Roger Ackroyd is fingered with the crime based on triangulating his location via cell towers.

"security researchers have discovered..." WTF! Someone knew it was there. Someone wrote the code and put it there. It didn't just occur organically. Its a feature built into the bloody phone.

Of course it was put there. The "security researchers" found something that Apple didn't disclose (for obvious reasons).
