If they plan to add iodine to salt, is this the same salt that chip shops are being advised to hide under the counter???

I did think it a touch counterintuitive to recommend adding iodine to something that everyone is urged to cut down on.

Add iodine to egg whites instead, that way everyone would get the yolk.
