Royal couple-to-be Prince William and Kate Middelton have today announed that they intend to follow Royal tradition and pupate for a short period of time until the day of their wedding comes about.
"I am absolutely delighted to be following in the footsteps of my ancestors," said Prince William in a press conference earlier today, "Pupating has been a part of our family for many years, and its something we all look forward to greatly. Also, anything can happen when two people who love each other are staying in the same cocoon- know what I mean?"
The RPD (Royal Pupation Department) are currently getting everything ready for the couple's cocoon, a process that involves keeping all of Buckingham Palace at an ambient temperature, locating the right amount of silk and tidying the Pupation Room. A giant leaf for the couple's cocoon to dangle from during the pupation period has already been found and is currently being installed in Buckingham Palace.
News of the pupation has also been delighting members of the public. Nigel Green, from Surrey, told reporters today "We're all absolutely thrilled to hear that they'll be pupating. It was a beautfiul moment when Charles and Diana went into the cocoon together all those years ago, and I hope it'll be just as nice with Wills and Kate." Adding to the compliment was Sylvia Harrow from Exeter, who told us that "Its just like a proper Fairy Tale pupation."
