David and Samantha Cameron have completed the next phase of Operation EasyVote, by making some friends in a mock British pub in Malaga, and promising to keep in touch with them when they get home.
After a night's karaoke, in which Dave shook hands with everyone in the pub, exchanged banter with some northerners and got a bit lairy with a German, the Camerons recently concluded a successful night's binge drinking.
It's the latest triumph in the twelve step strategy to portray the Camerons as an average British couple trying to get by on a Prime Minister's wage and a modest inheritance of an estate or two.
Dave and Sam have impressed fellow holiday makers by bringing out up to date versions of the tabloid newspapers, and giving them out to fellow holiday makers, who normally get The Sun a day late and have to pay three euros for it. David Cameron has made a point of picking up the papers, shaking his head and extolling that the bloody country is going to the dogs. Sam told fellow drinkers that she could quite happily live out here - if only you could get marmite more easily. And she'd miss the British pubs.
