Hello boys and the occasional girl. It is high time for some drinkies to dunk the Biscuit in, so may I propose a few heart-starters at the NB pub of choice, Ye Cheshire Cheese, on Friday 6th May? I find myself in the nation's great capital that evening and would love to spend it with anonymous strangers I met on the Internet - it is Friday, after all.

Mine's a large glass of Sauv. Whether anyone else is there or not.

I'll be there. In London, that is, not Hereford.

In the spirit of Big Society, maybe Biscuiteers in the regions should rebel against government from London and volunteer to set up their own drinks for the same time in their bit of the world. (Please note: there is no central funding available.) And maybe we could televise the whole thing. It'll be like New Year's Eve, or watching the Eurovision Song Contest results come in, only with a different scoring system that no-one trusts.

Spanner in cornflakes time...I would actually find it easier to do the day before (I think that's a Thursday, malgor) if there would be any takers for that.

If you all have it on the Sunday before that, (the 1st), you could make it a birthday party for me.
I still wouldn't be able to make it, but it'd be nice.

And Des, I never get exciting free gifts like that in my cereal, you lucky devil.

It's sort of on my way home, so I'll rock up too - assuming I don't get a better offer in the mean time of course. There was talk of the Farquharson's hosting another, "car keys in the fruit bowl" affair sometime in May.

Adrian, how delightful. It will be so marvellous to put a loathsome face to the name - although your reputation proceeds you. If you think the NB scoring system can be unkind, you should hear what Mrs Farquharson had to say...

And Custard, don't you go organising splinter cell, renegade drinkies. Mine's got all the big names and a girl at it. Beat that, Custard.

I'll try to get there, just like the last two years. Thursday avoids Mrs O'Pecia's birthday, but then the Thursday means I have to be in work on the Friday.
