I can hold my head high and say that I had nothing to do with the irritating as hell ad.
The only connection I have with advertising is a spell of work-experience with an agency while I was a "Me-dja" student in the early 90s, and my only input was to answer the phones and make tea. (Experience I could have gotten in any office environment, and completely fecking useless for an advertising wannabe).
