The Isle of Wight currently operates a three-tier system of education, with primary, middle and high schools. This is set to change, but has not done so yet.
Therefore the term 'secondary school' could lead to confusion.
I believe Norfolk also operates a 3-tier education system.
OK, thanks for the heads up. I'm a Londoner born and bred so the concept of middle schools is a bit alien to me.
I'm surprised Norfolk and the Isle of Wight have similar education systems! Perhaps I'm just surprised they have education systems.
Actually thinking about Norfolk makes me think I'll have to work something into the sub about them having a number system that uses base 12, as this is the number fingers and thumbs they have.
